C.L. Lewis & Company, Inc. is committed to providing quality construction to our clients using the Total Quality Management (TQM) process. Project quality control is an important component of our culture. Our Quality Assurance Director, Pam Ross, directs our TQM program, which will ensure quality control standards are maintained for the duration of every project.
In addition to training our staff, TQM commitment from all subcontractors is also key to providing the highest quality work.
Key procedures of our TQM program are:
- Quality control expectations are communicated to subcontractors and material suppliers during the preconstruction phase.
- Active TQM measures are used during the construction phase to avoid the common “inspection then rejection” mode.
The goal of our TQM program is to be proactive in regard to work quality with measurable results.
- We believe that safety is a major component of successful TQM.
- We understand that TQM is a continuous process and as a result, we continuously work to improve this process.
The TQM process is a practical way of working
and a better way of managing.
We believe our TQM program is another tool which helps us deliver a finished product that meets or exceeds the owner’s expectations. The complete program is detailed in our TQM manual.
